Ah, great points Denise! I did have someone ask me what I was working on next and it caught me off guard even though I was lucky enough to have another WIP to talk about. As far as whether I accomplished anything, I guess that's such a personal thing. Even though I didn't get an agent out of the conference (although I'm still somewhat hopeful), I felt like the connections I made and the insight I picked up about different publishing options were of value to me at this point in my career.
