Starting the Day with Creamer-Free Coffee: How Bad Could It Be?
Day One of my journey toward better health and wellness.
This morning I began a challenge presented by my favorite yoga studio. “The Experience,” they call it, and it involves a 10-day focus on various practices designed to help you “feel your best.”
I participated in something similar years ago and definitely found it beneficial. While I picked up several good eating and exercise habits back then, most of them eventually went by the wayside. That’s why I decided to try again: to reboot my commitment to better health and wellness and see if I can sustain them long-term this time.
Part of this endeavor involves journaling so you can record how you feel each day. Since I’ll be keeping a diary of sorts for the next week and a half, I figured why not publish my thoughts here on Medium, too? The worst thing that can happen is that my essays will go unread — something I’m already familiar with. And best-case scenario — my journey speaks to someone else out there, inspires them to identify things in their own lives they’d like to change and perhaps offer some ideas on how to make that happen.
